I'm currently a director of product marketing at Tala, where we're focused on building digital financial services for the underestimated global population.
I was previously a product marketing lead at Novi, a digital wallet and remittance app using cryptocurrency that was incubated in Meta's Financial Technology organization. Prior to Meta, I was the personal finance expert and product marketer at Tally, the world’s first fully automated debt manager. My financial tips and advice have been featured in news outlets such as CNBC, Glamour, TIME, USA Today, Forbes and many more.
I got my start in fintech as part of the early team at Credit Karma where I helped the Intuit-acquired company grow from 15 to 850 employees and 3 million to 85 million members. I wore many hats at Credit Karma, including Chief Consumer Advocate, writing and speaking regularly about all things personal finance.
Originally from South Carolina, I received a B.A. in English and Spanish from Erskine College. I went on to receive my M.A. in Spanish Literature at Syracuse University before moving to San Francisco, California. I currently live in North Carolina with my husband and three young sons.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family, reading, lifting weights, and making or listening to music.
